Veg Thali

A thali consists of, vegetables: a seasonal preparation. chutney: a condiment made with fruit, herbs, spices, and even vegetables, raita: curds usually mixed with some kind of vegetable. pickles: most commonly made from raw mango. With this one sweet dish like gulabjamun or kheer.

Fish Thali

Fish Thali is a complete meal consisting of Rice, fish curry fried fish some salad and a sprouted mung matki usal or any veggie/sabzi.

Prawns Thali

Prawn thali is highly popular and children loves it lot. It contains Prawns Curry, Rice Bhakri, along with other dishes to make a complete Thali. Kids enjoys krispy prawns.

This is served as per the availability of the fresh lobster. Served with lobster curry and fried lobster.

Ukadiche Modak

Ukadiche modak It is a sweet dumpling very much popular in Maharashtra and south India. Modak can be fried or steamed. Ukadiche Modak is a marathi word which means "Steamed modak". The filling is made of fresh coconut and jaggery, the cover is made of Rice flour. Modak has a special importance in the worship of the Hindu elephant god, Ganesh. Modak is believed to be his favorite food and Ganesh worship ceremony pooja concludes with offering of 21 modaks to the deity.

Naralachya Rasatalya Shevaya

This is a traditional recipe from Southern Konkan. These are Rice Flour Vermicelli served with Sweet coconut milk (It’s called Ras) . This is served as a part of main course. It’s a bit lengthy process but the results are awesome. It’s very delicious – worth all the hard work that you put in to cook this.

Prawns Rice

Wash the rice thoroughly and drain the water completely. In heavy bottom pan (I use pressure pan) add 1 tsp of ghee and 1 tsp oil. Once it’s hot add cumin seeds and whole spices . Fry them for few seconds and then add sliced onions and ginger garlic paste. Let the onion become translucent and then add prawns and turmeric powder. Let prawns to curl up into c shape and then add rice. Mix everything well. Add coconut milk and salt. Takes about 15 – 20 minutes to cook the rice or 3 vessels in pressure pan.

Ghavane

Take a rice in a separate bowl and wash it thoroughly. Soak it in sufficient water for overnight or at least 8-10 hours. Once soaked enough, blend it into smooth and thin paste. Batter should not be thick, so adjust the consistency with water. It should be thin, watery kind of consistency. Once batter is ready, add salt and mix it together. Warm the cast iron griddle on high heat and add oil into it. Spread the oil to cover the pan. Once pan is very hot, mix the batter thoroughly and with the help of ladle, pour batter onto the pan. Ensure batter is spread throughout the pan. (Since consistency of batter is thin, it will be automatically spread and cover the pan) Turn heat to medium and cover the pan for 1 minute. After a minute, remove the lid and flip over the ghavan. It will be cooked in another 1-2 minutes.
